Research and discovery
We ran strategic calls with Plan Vivo’s senior leadership team and staff, conducted desk-based research across the competitive landscape, and ran an online survey that drew responses from across their stakeholder community. We followed this with two workshops, one online and one in person, mapping user groups, prioritising audiences and working through what each of them needed from the brand and the website.
The existing brand didn’t engaged well with potential users and the website was information-heavy, hard to navigate and reliant on users already knowing where to look. The organisation itself was respected but seen as a niche player: trusted by those already in the know, but not projecting the authority and confidence that its track record warranted. The voluntary carbon market had also become crowded and, in places, tarnished.
Brand identity
The new brand identity reflects Plan Vivo’s community-led values and their position as a serious, experienced force in climate and nature markets. It brings consistency and confidence across channels while clearly distinguishing them from others operating in the same space, giving buyers, funders, project developers and partner organisations a clearer signal of what Plan Vivo stands for.




Website design and build
We designed and built a website structured around the needs of Plan Vivo’s distinct audience groups: project developers who need to understand how to get involved, corporate buyers who need transparency and proof of quality, funders who need clarity on strategy and impact, and communities who need to feel represented. Clear user journeys and a considered content structure mean each group can find what they need without having to already know where to look.


Digital accelerator hub
To support Plan Vivo’s global membership, we built a digital accelerator hub bringing courses and resources together in one accessible place. The hub gives cohort members the tools to strengthen their projects and grow their collective impact over time.
