We’re so excited to confirm that Kind will be working with the V&A on their project to document 50 memorable years of Glastonbury Festival. Initially, we will be running a discovery phase, defining the technical approach to the project and exploring how we might present a vast amount of data to users.
The project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and will be using AusStage to document the performance history of the festival. Alongside this, festival-goers will be able to share and explore personal memories of their experiences at Glastonbury.
We are huge fans of the festival, with some of the team often attending, so are really happy to be working on this project. We cannot wait to get started and work through all of the amazing images and memories from festival-goers, we might even throw in some from our own personal collections (the safe ones).
