We’re delighted to announce that Kind have been successful in winning a place on the Digital Services Framework IV for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), running for 2 years from October 2020.
The contract will see us work across the BBC’s digital portfolio including, but not limited to, Childrens and Education, News, Sport, Sounds, Home, iPlayer and TV.
Kind will be providing services in three categories on the framework:
1. Backend Development 🔗
Building server-based ‘backend’ services that can be used to power rich websites and apps as well as handling data, designing databases, and implementing rich data APIs.
2. Design and UX 🔗
Employing a user-centred design approach to create accessible user experiences for responsive web, apps and connected TV.
3. Web Development 🔗
Working on existing BBC websites or creating new websites that are adaptive, progressive and responsive and building rich and dynamic web-based JavaScript applications.
