Our culture.

We started Kind in order to help socially and environmentally responsible organisations gain a competitive edge and make the most of digital technology to educate, engage and inspire their audiences.

In the studio

A happy team produces the best work, so we’re always open to new ideas on how to make our working at Kind a pleasant and positive experience..

Currently we offer family friendly, flexible working hours with the opportunity to work from home as well as benefits like:

  • Unlimited holiday allowance
  • Transparency about the state of the business through regular reviews that include financial information
  • Professional development plans that include self-maintained training and conference budgets, 10% time and regular reviews with a line manager
  • A bonus scheme where our team can earn up to 10% on top of their salary

To make sure our team stays happy and that they have a say in the future of our agency, we appoint an employee representative who attends all of our board meetings.

Outside

When we're not delivering high-performing digital projects for our clients, we find other ways to enjoy each other's company, whether that be our weekly team lunches, drinks and a chat after work or our more recent obsession with testing the boundaries of our relationships by taking on some of Nottingham's escape rooms together.

And, as if we couldn't get enough of each other already, we take trips together too. In 2018, for instance, we took the team to the 1% for the Planet European Summit in Amsterdam, where we were lucky enough to visit Patagonia's EU headquarters and sample some of the best food and cocktails we could find.
